Why Someone Has Rubber Band On Wrist
Some Thoughts on Folk
Some Thoughts on Folk:
What is folk music? Since none of us is a musicologist, we do not present a fully thought-out definition of what is folk music, but some ideas may be allowed to:
Actually this is not a music style, but there are many different styles of music, just music styles of the many different peoples of the world so that they often "world music" has to say. "Folk music" is a Anglicism of "folk music" or "folklore", but these words are not always used the same. In folk music is meant usually either the traditional, ethnic music of a people, or specifically our German or German-language folk music or folk music. "Folklore" means mostly just the traditional ethnic music, but is often associated with tourism performances of the same. "Folk music" includes the mostly all with the means according to the language game more or less different.
We see it in the following sense: it is music that is home to ethnic or regional traditions are rooted. Hence come the terms "local music" and "root music". In this case, this traditional links are very strong and rigid, you play the songs exactly as they are delivered, or the roots absorb the force of tradition from the ground of ethnic culture, but all drive new leaves and flowers. Tradition and innovation, tradition, loyalty and creativity are one. Sometimes even old music styles that have been forgotten over time, and historical development to be revived.
folk music comes from the people, where "people" can be a part of different pairs of opposites:
- other a people versus a people: we hear where music has its ethnic roots. Even when it comes to multi-cultural fusion of folk music, one can appreciate the individual ingredients and recognize their own species. Such multi-cultural folk music will be the world music, the music of the peoples of the world.
- People vs. Nobility and clergy: This division is old. It dates from the time when people and the nobles and the people and clergy, distinguished from one another and formed different subcultures, and so also different musical cultures. While the nobility of court and the Clergy of the church music was indulged, can dance in the villages and towns in the middle of hearty folk music.
- People vs. Mastery: This is in part associated with the aforementioned dichotomy. This includes but also the tradition of political protest songs. In the U.S. the term was the "folk music" first used in this sense, protest songs against the government, the war, leads one rubs too many taxes, the alcohol bans, environmental pollution, etc. Even here in Europe and Germany has a long Tradition: 1848 to 1968 were not without protest songs would come to the fame that they have. And the Irish Rebel Songs play an important part in the Stereotypes that have been green from the island and its pubs.
- people versus professionalism: Folk music is often made music written, composed, played, sung and danced by amateurs or part-professionals, but often just not full time from the musicians. Seen again and again, various music genres to new folk music when "normal" people pop, rock, jazz, etc. play. The boundaries are more fluid. Professionals, there also.
However, the main thing is you have joy in the music to produce and consume. One might give it just the melodies and rhythms, from ancient times, foreign countries or dared to dream home the social utopias imagined, revel in love or sorrow while lifting a neat, there are many ways to enjoy folk music.

Dahme, Lighthouse
TG 161, 28/09/2008, 0:56 mins, 8.0 m , 15 ° C water temp.
Today Pinky and I were "visiting" in Dahme / OH at
Mr. Snake-Thomas Schmidt and his buddies.
A class diving spot waiting for us with tropical
visibility and calm waters.
The ground consists of sand and stone surfaces fields
were mostly covered with mussels. Very rich and varied-ment
cute!
A large gill net from the ground reaching about 2 m in depth,
was discovered in time by Thomas, fortunately! I would be in there
rushed.
Pinky had today while his new Buddy Inspiration.
made a good impression, I need to ...!

Why Am I Cold I Am A Man
strong current in the beach!
TG 160, the beach parking lot, entrance: 19.15 clock, 0:40 min, 10.1 m
TG 160, the beach parking lot, entrance: 19.15 clock, 0:40 min, 10.1 m
It should be a relaxed evening celebration - will dive from the Matthew, Carsten, Christian, and I attended Aishe.
We wanted to reel, then turn right to the pier and return to start.
first everything was nice and easy, until we noticed that whirled sediment passed us!
The cable drum we left off and then came back in the direction of the pier.
A hammer flow came to meet us now that no one of us had ever experienced nearly as much at a shore dive in the fjord! We all had reinhaun really right and I actually feared leg cramps, although fortunately stayed away. The whole was also a quite modest in view and little light on what the thing was not pleasant.
Well, ultimately we all came safely to the pier, and the flow was less.
The Dekobier tasted so much better afterwards ...!
good that we were five - two of us would have believed I guess no one behind.

TG 159, Eckernförde, reef and Mole, 03.09.2008, 00:44 had min, 7.1 m
Long before our holiday I think the new isothermal
(features:
- -dry suit in 6.5 mm neoprene; a Trilastic mix under the arms and sides of the body allows more flexibility and a simple dry dressing and undressing
- TIZIP Superseal back zipper
- Protection system for extreme cold protection
- cuffs with zippers on wrists and ankles with Metal Skin Seal
- smooth, ultra-flexible 5mm neoprene collar
- Tatex pads on chest and back, for better heat retention and faster drying
- Trilastic Knee Pads
- Supratex on the shoulders for additional protection from abrasion
- on the body Sapphfire Plush lining for better heat retention and extreme comfort )
get him but had not yet been able to try out.
today but now at last in Eckernförde!
Conclusion: A great suit! Pleasant entry through soft material. Pleasantly warm (14 degree water temp) all over, little penetration of water due to the high quality seals. I felt especially comfortable with permanently attached inside the extra-thin neoprene vest. This can be eg the suit in the semi-dressed state who have very good (boat ride!)
The hood fits great with a suit, sealed together with the collar class from.
Matching gloves are also to have the same to me I ordered!
short for TG: Together with Aishe first to the reef, then to the pier and good!
I had a little too much lead. Had not thought to take some more with because of the new suit, silly way.

TG 157 and 158, 23 24/08/2008 and "Dive Ulla and Paul", Cadaques, Spain
During our vacation by T3 bus through France and Spain, we passed Cadaques on the Mediterranean coast of northern Spain. Good opportunity for a few dives I thought.
The base is just outside the above mentioned period which would otherwise be very busy place and has two direct sea access, but they are through the rocks a little difficult. A small bridge would be good, but is not allowed because of the nature parks there. No matter, no problem!
The staff there was nice and friendly, mostly students from Germany. "Ulla and Paul" is no longer there apparently, her son took over the base.
There is the opportunity to participate in two boat trips per day, or the Bay to dive. Bay dive with own equipment without a guide costs 15, - € incl tanks and weights. Guide Plus = plus 8, - €.
As the boat tours were booked on the first day I found a nice family from Germany, where I was allowed to join. They knew the dive site and we had a nice relaxing 15m dive with moray eels and lots of nice fish. Very nice!
The next day I took no account of the cruise buddy, but I could join a TL-Assi and his students. Better than nothing I thought. Ultimately, this TG is then presented as a disaster dive, I will not describe here in Fairneßgründen.
General observations on the base which were crucial for my personal evaluation:
- Equipment and suits mainly of "discounters" (my Leihanzug was torn,
Leihjacket of a buddy lost permanently a little air)
- of two days there was no guide available, with which I would dive to
- at least a Guide / TL-Assi struck me negatively by poor student-TG-planning and - Implementation
- comfortable base with shady corners to sit and natter
- anytime beverage self-service with bar list
- fair prices for diving
- beautiful dive spots for beginners and Fotgeschrittene
- very good conditions for divers who want to make their own (with buddy) in the bay house their dives.
- Campers may park for free behind the house, if there is room. Even overnight!

What Doctor Do You See For Phlegm
neoprene decontamination!
Since I have little storage space, I pack my clothes diving during the summer, after drying, dipping back into the box and the car is at the rear of it. (Combined, not the boot)
Now I had after the last dive probably not flushed properly, or the things had again become wet, or whatever, in any case stank the suit strike you so so much to stink and mold that I like (or war- I have a Cold?) Severe neck pain was present.

Why Have Some Of My Led Lights Gone Out
no shaving - no dive!
"No woman - no cry - that was our topic for today after the dive.
After the dive, however, took place, unfortunately without me :-(
We met up to six (Aishe, Jan, Gunnar, Jurgen, Christian and I) for a cozy weekly Wednesday dive on the reef in Ecktown
The view looked promising.: Long time no east wind and no heavy rain.
My Buddy today should be in January
After the dive I noticed too much water in the mask. Despite permanent She was always blowing out immediately in full. On the hood it was not, that was my first guess. Safe and without cracks, the mask was also, I checked it. Then it fell
to me: I had forgotten to shave that has been with me several times already this episode. Mist, the TG would be a pain! The others were all still around, so I gave Jan the mark "with my mask is wrong" and "rise".
On the surface, I told him the problem and that I will stop.
The blowing of the others were right next to us, so that he could dive right back and was able to continue his dive with the others.
Will I be a lesson, because it sucks rather, if at all and must abrödeln and rinse after everything has a "TG" 4 minutes ...
Well, the pizza and the beer afterwards tasted just as good!

beach again after a very long time
TG 156, 10:07:08, 1:05 mins, 9.2 m, with Jan from Heath, Annika from HH and Christian from Kiel
That was just one of the great dives!
I had spontaneously joined the trio for a nice afternoon dive. The visibility was very good for this country, even though we just have a wet season and it is said that then, in view of the beach is usually bad because of the Fuhlenseewassers. We dived
only 120 degrees to the right bollards (and missed it) then along the stone wall to the outflow of the lake, from which came a swarm of beautiful. Then, in reply to the other side at the port exit and past the wall along there.
A nice dive as I said, coldest temperature was 15 ° c.
crap, I should take with the cam! Afterwards
gabs with Bruno still a beer!

Bikes & Bras Milena Velba
TG 155, 02.07.2008, Ecktown Reef, 0:53 hr, 8.2 m
Hey, that was something: 12 divers were diving in Eckernförde to Wednesday! World class, I do not think we were ever so many. We
had so around 27 ° C air and about 19 ° C water temperature!
The visibility was still relatively good for this country. At the reef, the view was of course "modest", because suddenly everyone was there.
I dived with Jürgen and Mauiocean "and we did not stay long at the reef.
I first saw the two plates mounted on the reef!
On the way back we were still all the foreign and the entire inside of the breakwater. At the end of the inside was in a corner to see a lot of fish! Interesting area, which I still do not know.
I had the Olympus Mju 1030 SW there and wanted to see me, what they endure Sun It was even time for a test of quality. It will withstand even 10 m water depth and drops from 2 meters. So today was once the dive test on the program.
She had no dropouts, made ordinary images (or?) And had no water at the end of the TG. Amazing but true! I will again lead to the limits!
They were not even all! And as we see, Frolic was after a long break and again here, which pleased everyone!
And which are not seen, but this was still fact: Owner corner was wet in! Ok, of course it was cold at times ... that's clear!
went to the TG, some of us still eat a pizza, very nice!
Wednesday must be the diving submersible guerrilla!
The cancer post for me to 4m at the end of the dive, for which I was grateful!
the herring, we saw several times during the 50 minutes. Something you have in the Baltic Sea also not too often.

Italian Irish & Scottish folk in the footsteps of an Irish monk in Tuscany
whom this review is too long, a shorter read in Folker! 04.08. S. 93.f.
For the third time now I have the honor of reviewing a CD of the Florentine Irish & Scottish folk band Whisky Trail. I wrote in the review of Irlanda in festa decima edizione 16-19 marzo 2005 teatro di Firenze Saschall that this disc is not in her masterpiece Chaosmos come even close, so I said it again this time this new live recording is also better than that of 2005. Above all I have to write, that it is not just a CD, but also a DVD, and a very thick book that you could sell almost on its own in the book trade.
CD and DVD are recordings of the same concert, so include the same pieces, so that they can hear for example first and then his curiosity after breastfeeding, as the musician (s) look for when playing their instruments. The first piece strikes me in listening to the CD before as a little too tall, intro, when simultaneously watching the Harper for his game but it looks different, and so you have the whole recording just primarily as a document of a rousing St. Patrick's Day-appearance of the nine-member Band seen. And also can the enthusiastic fan of Chaosmos hear one or the other piece of the master disc here again and see if even in the form of special, small symphonies, but in another set composition. The DVD has over the CD also has the advantage that you can see the dance group Steps Painting in action. Yes, and also lead singer Giulia Lorima swings on the dance floor, after which the audience burst into joyful applause, and I in listening to the CD first thought the applause applies the same time beginning Reel, whose name I know not of me but always really like . He is a part of the set Banshee Steps (Track 4).
The book spans the first in Italian, then again in English a long history from the ancient Irish Celts and their druids and Filids of the Christian monks who Christianized by Ireland in the European continent, including just the Holy Fredino, in the 6th Century in Tuscany was active right up to today's Irish-folk scene in the city on the Arno, which form the center well Whisky Trail and the annual festivals in Irlanda. This is all very well designed, but what kind of identity with historical derivation is not it?
Let's go back to the music: What I really like her, is that in it not only Irish and Scottish and a few Breton style elements are fused together, but also Italian and Mediterranean tradition plays into it. Thus it into a kind of Euro-folk, but not so free, like the Urban Trad or Dikanda, but even more Irish and Scottish. But I must go search through my old tapes, because I feel as if I had the odd name of the band members have heard the list of musicians by Angelo Branduardi. If I have found the place, I let you know.
The musician (s) are:
Giulia Lorima: voice, fiddle
Vieri Bugli: fiddle
Stefano Corsi: Celtic harp, mouth harp, harmonium, voice
Massimo Giuntini: uilleann pipes, bodhran, pedal bass, voice
and
Alberto Massi: bag pipe
Lorenzo Greppi: whistles, bodhrán, bombarde bretonne
Piero Bubbico: percussions
Nicola Neri: whistles (Jeffes Reel, Fairy Nurse)
Quartetto Archaea (Jeffes Reel, Fairy Nurse):
Mauro Fabrucci: violin
Marcello Puliti: viola
Damiano Puliti: cello
Filippo Pedol: double bass
Painting Stepps:
Sonia Bagni, Serena Giachetti, Cecilia Megali, Sandra Quercioli, Mirko Peluso
Trackliste:

Welch simple title for a CD, you may also feel an uninspired, the only good for a number, the other CD with rock, classical, jazz, and are so entitled on. Or do the four Danes (inn) en a definition territorial claim to collect, what is now Folks? Or maybe it is so that they the related gap in education of their contemporaries who know nothing to do with the word, want to close? Oh, I'll stop speculating, and regret that I have not asked for it when I was in the fire palace the time. This disc
least well suited to the memory of the great concert in Bad Honnef on 17 refresh May this year and to get an impression of modern Danish folk music, rooted in both the Danish and other Scandinavian music traditions and enriched with all sorts of influences from jazz and other genres. Karen sings old songs with a voice that is in itself both a folk music, as well as a jazz singer, great credit, Jesper on his accordion and especially Anja their bass clarinet and the other Jesper accompany his drums it as jazz-folky, so that I can equally imagine the quartet on a village festival and a jazz cellar, well, the latter perhaps even more, particularly with regard to the quieter and slower pieces like Gärdet. But then again waltz as Øst og Vest fit well to turn the village square or in the barn. And then suddenly it sounds Anitra Edward Tan from Grieks Peer Gint Suite, in Når Bjørn Danser, but played faster, so that a Bear might have trouble dancing to it.
Massimo Giuntini: uilleann pipes, bodhran, pedal bass, voice
and

Or do the four Danes (inn) en a definition territorial claim to collect, what is now Folks?
