I use that beautiful weather (clear, blue sky - cloudless) and drove to wiedermal Selpritsch for Shell Mischkulnig. Unfortunately, I have no pictures for you today, but I believe the text goes perfectly well ... I might find in the coming days, a few photos from today ...

to stretch, which started as usual in Krumpendorf, to Reifnitz went to Maria Wörth after Selpritsch - no site, no road bumps - grad mal a few sites zwegs apartment blocks and villas. Road conditions are thus as before, the GOGO-tent in Reifnitz is already built - quite early actually.

Nungut arrived in Selpritsch, the Shell gas station visited all right. Large groups from the surrounding areas (Feldkirchen, Villach, Spittal, ...) could be seen today - by 16 clock was the gas station parking lot full of threshing. Subaru, Mazda, Honda, VW, Seat, as always, everything was represented. Hammer Excessive been going on for the time - but when you consider that next weekend will be the first arrival is, it is clear anyway.

Well, the trip home went on Velden, Pörtschach and Krumpendorf. Road to Pörtschach is OK - the site center is in place still exists, traffic control, lane - but will not take more hopefully a long time because I think only missing the asphalt;) below for lower friends to us and should run the site section ( 100m) present a problem!

The final piece between Pörtschach and Krumpendorf also proved to be without problems:) So the season, nothing more stands in the way - about Schiefling, Keutschach and Viktring I will jet the next day sometimes, but I can on this section of the course / variant present no major construction sites;)

In the Palatinate, on journeys

14 weeks 4 days

We were still in Iowa, so Niklas met his American relatives. That was our luck, because otherwise we could have spent a week in a shabby hotel in Baltimore, waiting for the relaxation of the ash cloud. So we had only a day late and landed in the early afternoon yesterday in Ramstein. The flight, we have all recovered well. Finally, we have now been properly exercise in the Traveling with Baby. Although it is no picnic but the logistics were easier with each flight, after we had learned to take Niklas and remodel the stroller as Gepaeckkarre. Even the quiet in the airplane and the airport was never a problem.

the Ohmbachseelauf on Friday evening, I had actually delayed because of the already written off, but when I heard that my parents had parked their camper at the campsite directly to said reservoir, came up with new hope.
Jon's future colleague picked us up from the airport and took our luggage to the hotel with Jon, while I welcomed with Niklas in the stroller at the gate of the air base my parents. There I was then picked up by the two. Since I have a German driver's license (and not Jon), we only had to fill out a form and already I was a temporary piece of paper over the last we needed for our to pick up car that already on 15 April arrived here is. At six we were back at the hotel, move fast and get rid of the campsite, invite parents and then the problem: when the run going, then? Why Does My Throat Hurt So Much??

13 weeks

Once again we are homeless, have left Florida behind us and all the friends and acquaintances that we have found in the last three years there. Such a move is always with a laughing and a crying eye, but we have made the most of our time there, an awful lot of experienced and seen, and now it was really time to go. It was already quite warm and humid, which is exactly the right time to adopt and to leave for Washington DC. Jon is off to an 10-day period and Niklas and I use the time for us to look at the environment. On the weekend we were all together with a friend of Jon, who lives in the area, hiking in West Virginia. Who does not remember the song "Country Roads" by John Denver that is a must in any fire and accurately there playing? The country is reminiscent of German low mountain range with mountains and forest, only wilder, bigger and inaccessible. That was after all the stress just right for us and a good mood for the Palatinate.
Here in Washington we have found a running group with which we were last Thursday on the road - always practical to find routes in an unfamiliar environment - and on Friday evening there was a 5 km run no 10-minute drive from our hotel. Jon is running like the wind (19:15) and I have navigated the stroller from the 1000 runners. This was a completely different experience and has "a bit" lasted longer (26:11), but also has a lot of fun.

Now it's on Friday for a first few days after Iowa to Jon's family before 22 April in Germany to land. Since we are looking forward!

PS: I've neglected the blog reprehensible. Who wants to see pictures and stay up to date can even be my friend on Facebook. This is usually easier than a full text to write if you never know when the baby back what does ...
