"Dance on the Volcano", the title fits Eifelrock and Wibbelstetz frontman Günter Hochgürtel as Maare in the Eifel, but no, this CD not songs contains north northern dialect, but eleven highly German songs. Already under the name "Troubadour" songs he was from outside the genre Wibbelsetz the best, including, but not only their own seals. But now he has written songs recorded Eleven, where he helped a gang of friends who are working together a full band sound, including even Jürgen Eder Scholars and Linus and John Kramer of Wibbelstetz Epremian Le Clou, but other, previously unknown to me. It sounds like Rhenish folk music to Cajun and country, to rock and pop, to jazz, to songs, even after hit, but not too much, as Gunter's voice is really good ingebettet and worn. And his lyrics are about human carelessness in dealing with nature (that is the content of the title song and just dance on the volcano), the devious brother, of the suddenly grown-up daughter, the parents' home towards Kappstadt leaves the fate of a prostitute, a grandfather inherited from the cigarette case and in many ways of pleasure and woe of the relations between men and women. All this is so peppy, dance or schunkelbar brought over, that you forget the seriousness of some texts sometimes. Apart from the Rhenish, French and American models Günters I come as a comparison musician John Denver and more Angelo Branduardi to mind. It is simply well-done art songwriter, not as cramped as some colleagues, the raised index finger is only the title song really much to notice, but each song has its own morality, which is placed discreetly over. The Who release party could not attend, as I did, which was established this CD to my heart.
